Indexing: Placing webpages in an order based on the algorithm of the search engine. Query: The keywords a person types into a search box. Rank : The position of your site on the search results list. The rank level depends on how much of your site matches the algorithm's criteria. Optimization: The task aimed to configure your web pages to match an algorithm's criteria. The goal of optimization is to get the highest possible rank in a search engine. Automatic Update: Periodically, the spider may return to your pages to check to see if you've made any changes. By reading the above list of terms, you can see that there is no big secret or magic formula in optimizing websites. If you learn how to follow certain rules according to the algorithm. When you submit your site, you must provide its link .Once the link has been received , the search engine's spider is activated. Then the search engine checks the pages according to its algorithm. If things are all right, and there is no spam, the engine will place your site in their index within a few weeks. It will update automatically. When a query is submitted, the search engine will pull up all of the sites connected with the keywords used. There may be only a few, or thousands of positions listed. Your site could be anywhere on the list. The thousandth place has very little chance to be noticed, but the top ten can have thousands of visitors daily.
